May 2016 Newsletter

May 12, 2016

The next Social Meeting is May 23rd and will feature an outing to Nye’s Trap Range beginning at 6:00 pm and running until close to dark. If you haven’t shot trap before now is an excellent opportunity to do so. If you have a spouse, youngster or friend that would like to try this sport now is the perfect time as there will be lots of assistance available. No shotgun? No problem as there will be several loaner guns available. Nye’s is located at 6281 Peirce Road which is approximately 3 miles east of Kingsley on M-113 and then north approximately 8/10’s mile on Pierce Rd. The cost is $4.00 for 25 clay birds and if you need shells (12 gauge only available) they are available at $7.00/box. If you are bringing your own shells please no shot larger than 7 1/2. As always, eye and ear protection required.

The next KSC Business Meeting is June 13th.
