The Social Meeting of December 26th will be cancelled due to the holidays.
The next Business Meeting is January 9th. All members should be aware that the annual Nominations for Directors will be taken at the January 9th and February 13th meeting with the Election occurring during the February 13th meeting. The following four Directors are concluding their two year term; Mark Radcliff, Rich Core, Rich Hentschel, and Andy Bates. These Directors may be re-nominated and any member in good standing may also be nominated as well. You must be present to accept the nomination and / or cast your vote.

2017 KSC Membership Renewals – Membership renewals received after December 31st will be subject to a $10.00 late fee. Renewals received after February 15 will be treated as a new membership application and accepted based upon availability and may not be accepted. Based upon the renewals received so far, there will either be a good number of late fees or a lot of new members. If you haven’t received your renewal please call Bryan Wurm @ 231-492-5530.
Representatives from the Northwest Michigan QDMA (Quality Deer Management Association) gave a report on their activities for the last year. They, in conjunction with the Mackinaw, Tipp of the Mitt and West Shore QDMA branches are once again sponsoring a “Weapon A Week Raffle”. Tickets are $52.00 each and are limited to 1,000 tickets. Raffle winners will be notified by phone and you can check out the Tipp of the Mitt QDMA Facebook page to see who has won. Attached is the flyer for more information. The Northwest MI QDMA is also having a free “Aging and Scoring Night” on December 17th in Lake Ann, please see the attached flyer for more information.
January 29, March 18, May 20, July 29, September 23 and October 21 are the 2017 dates for the CCW Classes conducted by Ted Hentschel and Dave Wessel, owner of Great Guns in Acme. The class costs $150.00 and starts at 8:00 am and concludes at 5:30 pm. To reserve your spot please call Ted at 231-313-0720..
If you have any firearms that you would like to sell send an email with the information on what it is (brand, model, caliber, finish, barrel length, optics, etc.) and I will include it in the next newsletter. Please indicate if you wish to be contacted directly or through the Club’s email.
Reserved/dedicated range Activities. The following reserved activities have first right to the use of the range at the designated days/times. If you are at the range at the same time you will need to adjust your activities to accommodate their needs. Club members and the public are welcome to participate in these activities.
Pistol Shooters, every Sunday from noon until 3:00 pm. The first Sunday of the month is CCW day and the last Sunday of the month is .22 day. Sundays in between, shoot what you bring.
