22228415_10155356179003725_8688002780830186901_nThe next Social Meeting is October 23rd and the agenda will be stuffing envelopes with membership renewals so that they may be mailed to all members. Your help stuffing envelopers would be appreciated.

The next Business Meeting will be on Monday, November 13th.

Remember that Sight-in days will be November 4 & 5th and 11 & 12th. Saturday hours will be 10:00 am until 4:00 pm and Sunday hours will be from noon until 4:00 pm. The cost is only $5.00 per gun so please tell all your friends about this event. Lunch will be provided for volunteer workers. Please contact Dean Councilor (231-632-0968) to volunteer your services. Dean will be able to tell you if additional help is needed on certain days so we don’t have to many volunteers on some days and not enough on others.

The Hunters Supper will be on Saturday, November 11th from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm. KSC member and executive chef Jim Buie will once again be preparing both the sight-in-days lunches and the Hunters Supper. The cost for this delicious meal is only $7.00 for a single, $14.00 for a couple and $20.00 for a family. Volunteers for Friday night set up, Saturday food prep, serving and cleanup will be needed. Please help out by calling Ted Hentschel @ 231-313-0720 to volunteer.

As part of the Sight-in-days and Hunters Supper, there will be a raffle for the exquisite knife made by professional knife maker and member Bill Behnke who donated the knife to our Club. This knife has a retail value of $275.00 so be sure to get your tickets. Many thanks Bill for your craftsmanship generosity.

Many thanks for the Young Marines who graciously donated $100.00 to the KSC.

Firearms for Sale:

If you have any¬†firearms that you would like to sell send an email with the information on what it is (brand, model, caliber, finish, barrel length, optics, etc.) and I will include it in the next newsletter. Please indicate if you wish to be contacted directly or through the Club’s email.

October 21 is the last 2017 CCW Classes conducted by Ted Hentschel and Dave Wessel, owner of Great Guns in Acme. The class costs $150.00 and starts at 8:00 am and concludes at 5:30 pm. To reserve your spot please call Ted at 231-313-0720.

Reserved/Dedicated Range Activities. The following reserved activities have first right to the use of the range at the designated days/times. If you are at the range at the same time you will need to adjust your activities to accommodate their needs. Club members and the public are welcome to participate in these activities.

Fall Sight-in Days, November 4 & 5 and 11 & 12th. Saturdays 10:00 until 4:00 and Sundays noon until 4:00.

Pistol Shooters, every Sunday from noon until 3:00 pm. The first Sunday of the month is CCW day and the last Sunday of the month is .22 day. Sundays in between, shoot what you bring.
