The Social Meeting of May 27th is cancelled due to the Memorial Day Holiday. The next Business Meeting is on June 10th.

It’s back, the .22 Silhouette Shoot, every Thursday night beginning at 6:00 pm there is an informal offhand match with targets at 25, 50, 75 and 100 yards. Come join in for a good time of camaraderie and friendly competition.

G T & Kingsley Archers – Thanks to all that helped in the May 4 Hunters Ed class this year.  We had 45 students get their Hunters Ed Certificate.

There is going to be an archery instructor’s workshop Thursday June 13th at Cedar Rod and Gun from 5 pm to 9 pm.  Contact Rich Bechtold by June 11th to reserve a spot.

Archery night – Open to the public at 6:00 pm on Wednesdays is a 15 target 3D Range. Requested donation is $5.00 for KSC members and $7.00 for non-members. There are also used 3D targets for sale from $40.00 down. Call Dennis (231-342-3703) if interested.

Thanks to everyone who helped at the KSC Gun Show. There was a nice display of firearms, unfortunately the attendance was down this year versus previous years.

April 28th Work Bee accomplished repairing the backstops and pistol steel boxes and general cleanup in preparation of Hunters Ed. Regrettably, not enough volunteers showed up to complete all of the tasks at hand. Remaining tasks are: cleaning the range bathroom, lead and brass taken to scrap yard, club house kitchen cabinets need cleaning and the garage needs cleaning. If you are able to help with any of these items please contact Ted Hentschel.

The Adams Fly Festival will be from noon to 8:00pm on Saturday, June 8th. Rob King has volunteered to be the point man for our annual BB Shoot Booth which takes place from 11-4. Please call Rob (231-218-1285) to volunteer for this activity. See the attached flyer for more details.

Interested in a Clay Duck Fun Shoot on Saturday, May 25? The Grayling Sportsman Club is hosting one. Flyer attached for those who are interested.

KSC member Derick Graczyk of Patriot Firearms has announced a Ladies Only CCW Class (taught by a female instructor) on June 8th. The cost is $125.00 and the class starts at 8:00am. You can register by contacting Derick @ patriotfirearmstraining@charter.net

The 2019 dates for the CCW Classes conducted by KSC members Ted Hentschel and Dave Wessel, owner of Great Guns in Acme are as follows: July 27, September 28 and October 26. The class costs $150.00 and starts at 8:00 am and concludes at 5:30 pm.

Reserved/Dedicated Range Activities. The following reserved activities have first right to the use of the range at the designated days/times. If you are at the range at the same time you will need to adjust your activities to accommodate their needs. Club members and the public are welcome to participate in these activities.

CPL Range, reserved from 12:30 until 3:30 on May 11, July 27, September 28 and October 26 and from 3-5 pm on January 19, February 2, February 23, and from 3:30 to 5 pm on March 2, March 30, April 20 and May 18 for CPL Classes.

Pistol Shooters, every Sunday from noon until 2:00 pm. The first Sunday of the month is CCW day and the last Sunday of the month is .22 day. Sundays in between, shoot what you bring.
